The second edition of the summer school of the CREATE Program in Environmental Decontamination Technologies and Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (TEDGIEER) is intended for graduate students who are part of the program and whose research work focuses on one of the 6 research themes of the program.
The school will be held June 3-21, 2019 at the INRS Eau Terre Environnement Research Centre. This summer school will provide participants with a unique, multi-disciplinary experience in close interaction with professors from the program participating universities, professionals and stakeholders with various backgrounds to cover the different concepts in environmental technologies, water and sustainable development, and in entrepreneurship, project management and intellectual property.
The objectives of this training course are:
- Make an overview of current and emerging major environmental issues through research and industrial perspectives
- Initiate the student to different aspects of environmental technologies applied to real problems of management and decontamination of water and effluents.
- Introduce the student to entrepreneurship and management of industrial projects
- Explain the different forms of intellectual property in the context of industrial projects
- Propose solutions for the resolution of an industrial/applied problem related to environmental technologies of decontamination and integrated management of water and effluents.
