Visit

On Saturday, October 26, 2019, we, the CREATE students, had the chance to visit the Assumption Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of the second day of the 33rd Eastern Canada Conference on Water Quality (CAWQ). During this technical visit, we were able to see the current installations of the purification plant (screening, sandblasting, lagoons, ...), as well as the pilot project of the company "Kourant", a unique electro-bioreactor developed for wastewater treatment. This visit, in connection with our respective research projects, was very interesting and enriching for the continuity of our projects.
